IKE Bol Build

The crew at IKE is at it again!  Building a simple MAKR style bol.
This Simple design assembles triangles that are offset to create a nice looking basket.  Attaching the bridals makes for an easy to cut, stich, and teach as our group found out.  Color selection seemed to be the biggst challenge.

IKE – January Rok Kite Build

January 15th – IKE Rok Build  ::  Somewhere IL

A gathering of crazy Kiteheads  got together at Big Mikes place to build some Rokkaku kites.  Fun was had by all!

Welcome to the beginning!

Ah a new club to the Quad Cities.  I am told there use to be a kite club here before but fell apart due to lack of energy.  Well much like the wind it may come and it may go, the direction will change so grab some string because something good is about to happen.

Working slowly the club is put together and is working on the first festival for the area.  With much support from local community leaders this is proving to be a Very exciting Event for our community.  Stay tuned and check back often.
